BEGIN YOUR MENTAL HEALTH HEALING

Psychiatric Evaluations

Every treatment plan begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to better understand your child's, teen's, or young adult's emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. The evaluation includes a thorough review of current symptoms, developmental, medical, family, social, and school history to help identify conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, OCD, and behavioral concerns.

Using this information, we develop a personalized treatment plan that may include psychiatric medication management, laboratory testing when appropriate, referrals, parent education, and ongoing support to help your family achieve lasting mental wellness.

Medication Management

Medication can be an important part of treating mental health conditions when clinically appropriate. At Renewed Mental Health, medication management is personalized and focused on helping children, adolescents, and young adults safely manage conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, mood disorders and other mental health conditions.

Each follow-up visit includes an assessment of symptom improvement, medication effectiveness, side effects, and overall functioning. Treatment plans are adjusted as needed, with education and shared decision-making so clients and families feel informed and confident throughout care.

For individuals with ADHD, non-stimulant treatment options and other evidence-based medications are available when clinically appropriate.

Please note: Controlled medications are not prescribed through telehealth appointments.

Laboratory Testing

Mental health symptoms can sometimes be influenced by underlying medical conditions or nutritional deficiencies. When clinically appropriate, lab testing may be recommended to help identify factors that could be contributing to symptoms such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, fatigue, mood changes, or difficulty concentrating.

Depending on your individual needs, recommended labs may include evaluation of thyroid function, metabolic health, and other relevant medical markers. Laboratory results are carefully reviewed and incorporated into your personalized treatment plan, helping ensure that both physical and mental health factors are considered.

Lab testing is ordered when medically necessary and is used to support accurate diagnosis, guide treatment decisions, and promote comprehensive, evidence-based psychiatric care.
